The IDOM Barcelona office was opened in 1964 and currently has more than 300 employees.

This office caters to both public and private sector clients in the Catalunya, Balearic Islands and Andorra zones while, at the same time, making use of the entire technical and personnel expertise of the IDOM Group from the whole range of Technical and Geographical divisions.

The fields covered by IDOM in the Barcelona office are Industrial Engineering,Civil Engineering, Energy, Studies and Consulting, Telecommunications, Advanced Analysis and Design, Innovation, Territorial Management, Architecture and Building and Environmental Engineering. In addition, this office includes a division of Seridom, which deals with "turnkey" projects, and is making inroads into the Chemical sector.
