IDOM began to operate in Bilbao in 1957 with the aim of providing independent professional services in the field of engineering.

The development of the market, the new needs of Clients and IDOM's permanent focus on service have led us on a path of continuous growth and diversification.

At the moment, almost 700 professionals carry out their work in the Bilbao office, participating in projects all around the world and both for the public and private sectors, in all the areas in which IDOM specialises, with particular emphasis on the fields of Industrial Engineering, Energy, Architecture and Building, Civil Engineering, Consulting, Telecommunications, Environmental Engineering, Territorial Management, Advanced Analysis and Integrated "turnkey" Services.
