IDOM began to work in the Eastern European markets in 1990 after winning a public competition in Poland. Wroclaw's (Breslavia) office in was set up in mid 2008 with the aim of providing our Polish clients with a more personalised service.
The presence of several Spanish companies in the inductrial, energy and real estate sectors, the economic potential of Poland and the growing interest of investors in that country, led to the setting up of IDOM's office in Wroclaw, the city considered to be the industrial capital of the country.
Investments associated with the cohesion funds of the European Union, the preprations for Eurocup 2012, the transport infrastructures development programme, especially the introduction of high speed railway lines, among other things, are giving rise to a number of major projects, in some of which we are already taking part or hope to participate in the near future.
In the company's initial development stage in Poland, IDOM will focus its attention on areas such as Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture.
