IDOM was founded in Venezuela in 1977, in Valencia, an industrial city located 160 kilometres to the south-west of Caracas.

This location allows the company to provides services to the large industrial park in the middle of the country which contains 70% of the small and medium-sized companies in Venezuela. The clients are not limited to this market but are from all over the country, with studies and projects developed for industrial clients and public and private institutions in the east, west and south of the country. The activity of the Venezuela office is based principally on providing basic and detailed engineering services and integrated site management.
